Xavier carries out consulting missions primarily in Luxembourg and the Benelux region.

Xavier specializes in non-life insurance and performed a wide range of actuarial work for small to medium companies. He joined Milliman after holding the position of senior actuarial consultant for Aon Global Risk Consulting (AGRC) in Luxembourg. In this role, Xavier worked for more than 60 established non-life and life insurance and reinsurance companies in Luxembourg, in Ireland and in the Netherlands. The tasks performed included the calculation of the Solvency Capital Requirement, contribution to the ORSA report in respect of the solvency requirement projections, calculation of the technical provisions (including IBNR) and writing actuarial function reports.

In addition, Xavier was responsible for the definition and implementation of the actuarial best practices of AGRC Luxembourg and he served as head of actuarial function for a reinsurance captive in Dublin and as signing actuary of a captive in Bermuda. Xavier also worked on various projects such as application files for new companies or sales of reinsurance companies in Luxembourg.

Before that, Xavier worked as reserving and pricing actuary for AXA travel insurance in Dublin and performed pricing, reserving and profit analysis for payment protection insurance companies fully owned by Société Générale in the EMEA region.

Xavier is fluent in French and English.
